Chinese, Republican Period, Celadon Jade Carving of a Beast on a pedestal Seal. The high relief carving on the seal shows the letters 'JUL 32' and the name 'STIFFEL ', below, as well as Chinese characters that probably spell what is written in English. the Seal appears to have been used. The carving is in excellent preserved condition, as shown in the posted photos. Seal Measurements Height: 2.70 inches (7.9cm) Size of a Square side: 0.91 inches (2.3cm) Weight: 2.8 ounces
