Late Qing Dynasty - Glass in Imitation of Smokey Quartz, Well Hollowed, Snuff Bottle This is a fine, Late Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912) Compressed rectangular form Snuff with rounded sides Snuff Bottle, with a round short neck, flat mouth, and raised slender oval footing. Made of glass but with a meticulous imitation of Smokey Quartz. The bottle is well-hollowed, and relatively light in weight (1.4 ounces). The bottle is translucent, with a dark amber color. It has a smooth and lustrous surface. It comes with a green jade stopper with black collar. The bottle is in excellent preserved condition .
