Mid-18th Century, Japanese Mixed Materials Three-case Inro, Kyoto ware Ojime, and Manju Netsuke This is Mid-18th Century, wondefully carved Three-case Lacquered Inro inlaid with Porcelain. The inro is contained within a dark brown frame. The porcelain is inlaid in a Mokume bacground, and it depicts the figure of Lao-Tze on the front, and a couple of sages on the back. The white and brown Kyoto ware ojime depicts Daikoku, and is impressed with the seal of Eiraku Tokusen. The wood manju netsuke in the shape of a priest begging bowl is covered with a long poem written in Gyosho caligraphy, and it is signed by Fuji Dainen. Inro measures 2.30 inches (5.8cm) wide, 0.93 inches (2.4cm) deep, and 2.56 inches (6.5 cm) tall Netsuke measures 1.50 inches (3.8cm) in diameter, and 0.83 inches (2.1cm) tall. Ojime measures 0.78 inches (2.0cm) wide, and 0.68 inches (1.8cm) tall. Inro, Netsuke and Ojime are all in excellent condition, as can be seen in the posted pictures .
